The Electronic Life and Interaction with TV and Computers, etc.

Videophone#Early_history or the Telephonoscope
The Videophone concept was established long before the electronics could be miniaturized by the early 21st century when Telepresence started to become more commonplace.
Le Vingtième siècle. La vie électrique by Albert_Robida, was published in 1890.
Electronic_Life by MC, was published in August 1983 about a decade before the Internet became public & laptops were still so bulky & limited. By 2013 a fully functioning PC could be part of a cell phone, or the size of a Phone book that can function as full desktop_replacement unit. Sphere was published in 1987. It's a speculation of a temporal quantum computing sphere with ET Ai, that's been captured by a future American spacecraft. Somehow since ancient times, humans have had the concept of seeing & hearing things through certain objects. From the talking magic mirror to the iPad, technology keeps moving ahead & sometimes reaches into the myths of the distant past.

MySpace 2003...

{MySpace operates solely on revenues generated by advertising as its user model possesses no paid-for features for the end user. Through its Web site and affiliated ad networks, MySpace is second only to Yahoo! in its capacity to collect data about its users and thus in its ability to use behavioral targeting to select the ads each visitor sees.
On August 8, 2006, search engine Google signed a $900 million deal to provide a Google search facility and advertising on MySpace.}
