It seems that there has almost always been some people that are more curious about pondering, The Nature of Reality. (TNOR)
Of course some people have such fear of the unknown, they would rather humans be like content pet mice in a cage. Is the human herd nothing more than someones lab experiment?
If this world is part of a cosmic program or simulation, then it might be just as much of a school than a prison.

The science approach isn't about looking for a creator, it's more about unraveling how everything works. As computer simulations become more advanced and realistic, more people will start to consider that this world is part of a cosmic simulation.
