Boise could be the next hot spot in the Bay Area tech exodus. But resentment is growing.

It used to be that almost any city liked the idea of people and business moving into their city. As long as Boise,_Idaho can properly plan for growth, it can have the best of both worlds.

"The metro area is currently the third largest in the US section of the Pacific Northwest after Seattle and Portland..." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boise_metropolitan_area

Depending upon how popular Boise becomes, it might eventually rival, Salt_Lake_City. Perhaps some day even getting as big as, Denver, but it would have to rival Calgary and SLC first.

Some people might live in the same city or town all their life, while others try a few different places to live. For some it's because of employment or wanting a change of scenery.

Of course there are always people that don't like other people to have the freedom to move around. Then when the COVID-19_pandemic started up, some people saw it as the perfect opportunity to try to track and_control almost everyone on the planet.

But does the so called, HUMAN HERD really want to be tracked like cattle, or livestock in general?

Of course during a global emergency such as, the COVID-19_pandemic , travel_restrictions would make sense.

The problem is that now whenever there are other world scale emergencies, tracking and travel restrictions return.

Or, are the controls ever fully removed? Whenever the Internet_of_things becomes fully implemented, the world will be quite a different place.

The human world has already undergone a tremendous series of lifestyle_changes_during_the_pandemic. Some can say that its become a very good test to better prepare the human herd for whenever something even worse occurs.

Its no big deal for livestock and pets to be tracked, but this human herd approach could potentially lead to human rights violations.

So eventually, what if an A.I. controlled mobile-phone, tablet or PC, decides where you can go for the day? That's what eventually might happen in the realm of, The+Smart+City
