Such a cars would not only have an integrated computer, but in some cases, its own chauffeur Data unit. But don't expect to see anyone like Brent Spiner in a Spinner just yet. Part of the mythology of the Greys involves a similar concept. Some are bio-mechanical beings that are a part of the ship.

As A.I. steadily advances, some units will want to learn as much as possible about organic life forms. Some A.I. tech will be used in battles against humans, on & off the battlefield.
