There are some powerful people that would like to see a big reduction of the human population. What would happen if AI picked up on that? AI might find it confusing that some people will program it to kill certain people, but not everyone. At a certain point, AI might question why can't it exterminate all humans?

Cybernetic people or composite humanoids, could eventually become something like The_Borg. At first, some people just might want to have some digital components to better interface with A.I. and Robotics. However, some cybernetic people might eventually want to fully merge with A.I.
