This tech has a lot of potential as a tool, but most people wouldn't ever want to become something like the Borg, under the control of nanoprobes just to meet A.I. Collective requirements. It's one thing if some people want to have various cybernetic enhancements, but it would be utterly foolish for humanity to just give up & merge with something like a Borg_Assimilation Agenda.
