Filming Locations 28 Years Later of "The Matrix(1999) in Sydney, Australia

Its rather peculiar how the last scene in The+Matrix was filmed right across the street from a triangular building which is similar to the NYC hotel that John Wick would occasionally visit.

However, no one would be able to notice this synchronicity back in 1999, when there was no concept of John Wick yet. https://johnwick.fandom.com/wiki/Continental_Hotel

Last Scene in The Matrix https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42JkG-REhIg As soon as he hangs up the phone, you can see the front of  the building. Several people keep saying that-the-universe-isn't-a-computer-simulation. Yet, anyone with a concept of pattern+recognition and synchronicity can notice a lot of things that seem to be more than just a coincidence. At the very least, its quite an interesting paradox.

Who is John Matrix and who is John Wick?

 https://www.reddit.com/r/matrix/comments/1vrk5uc/i_get_goosebumps_every_time/

Sometimes a certain name will become more pertinent in a person's life.

https://www.reddit.com/r/matrix/comments/1vrk5uc/comment/p4fkmt9/

Then later on, that name will even have even more significance.

https://www.mensjournal.com/entertainment/arnold-schwarzeneggers-best-movie-featured-the-ultimate-80s-action-hero

https://www.reddit.com/r/matrix/comments/1vrk5uc/comment/p4ex3yy

Technically, one could say that there is no connection between John Matrix and John Wick.

However, several years before Joel_Silver would meet The_Wachowskis to eventually produce the first and then 2 more MATRIX movies, he just happened to produce the Commando movie with its main character being, Colonel John Matrix. https://hero.fandom.com/wiki/John_Matrix

https://letterboxd.com/producer/joel-silver

https://www.reddit.com/r/todayilearned/comments/llct7i/til_before_joel_silver_produced_some_of

Then, at the end of the first MATRIX movie in Sydney, Keanu Reeves as Neo walks out of a phone booth that's across the street from a building with a peculiar shape.

https://www.google.com/maps/place/The+Matrix+filming+location

There happens to be a building across the street from the Sydney phone booth that has a similar shape to the NY Continental Hotel in the John Wick movies.

https://melodydexter.com/more/blog/radisson-blu-sydney-the-john-wick-hotel

Is it just another coincidence, or is it synchronicity?

https://www.google.com/maps/place/Paradox+Sydney

Of course when people first saw the MATRIX in 1999, there was no concept of the John Wick character yet, let alone the wedge shaped Continental Hotel.

So as Neo takes off from the phone booth, it is revealed that he is like the Superman of cyberspace, or is part of the Superman MATRIX.

One of the key things about pondering a simulation theory, thought experiment is to notice some very peculiar synchronicity that does seem to be part of this earthly reality.

https://news.ok.ubc.ca/2025/10/30/ubco-study-debunks-the-idea-that-the-universe-is-a-computer-simulation Some say that its just not possible, so don't bother to look for any clues.

How many people just thought that it's impossible to have a cosmic scale simulation? So, don't give it any serious thought. Really?

https://www.reddit.com/r/STEW_ScTecEngWorld/comments/1oki1h7/ubco_study_debunks_the_idea_that_the_universe_is At the very least, the simulation hypothesis is a fantastic plot element in several Sci-Fi stories.

Yet, something like a very advanced version of SimCity, the 13th Floor & very advanced flight simulators, can still reveal plenty of clues about this world.

More evidence of the Simulation Theory?

 https://www.reddit.com/r/SimulationTheory/comments/1wtlyw4/proof_of_simulation_theory

At the end of the first MATRIX movie, KR as Neo leaves the phone booth. Right across the street is a wedge shaped building that's similar to the fictional Continental_Hotel in New_York.

Neo's Message "Ending Scene" | The Matrix (1999) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHW8zC7I5ho This is such a powerful last scene, because it reveals that Neo will be doing more of his Superman thing in the MATRIX. The John+Wick movie series is clearly on a roll.

KR seems to be at the top of his game. It's always nice to have various options. However, what's going to happen to CP 2077?

Why Is Cyberpunk 2077 SO BAD?! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNCuypF0cu8

A lot of people like certain aspects or features of CP 2077, but many find it disappointing.

"This is a video review and critique of Cyberpunk 2077, one of the most infamous flops of recent years. Hopefully MATRIX 4 will have some interesting things to reveal. Although M2 and M3 were considered unnecessary by some, I liked how elements of the story were continued. So if M4 can extend the overall story in an interesting way, I'm game.

However, the world is more than some arcade game or Sim program.

Perhaps the Flatiron could have been used as the NY Continental Hotel location, but it wasn't.

However, back in 1999 no one would have spotted its slight similarity with the shape of the NY Continental Hotel, because the John Wick character wasn't invented yet.

Each movie in The_Matrix series takes you to a certain point of the story. Of course The_Matrix_Resurrections tries to take the story to the next level. However, if people are expecting the fast pace, high philosophy just like in the first movie, Resurrections offers a different pace and part of the story. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10838180

Characters in the Matrix series

Of course movies and TV series can have a wide variety of characters.

People Who Look Like Doubles of Marvel Characters... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCWEIZ8WXf4 There are always some people that try to imitate or emulate the tech or the characters. There are also people with some real life abilities, as well as the stunt doubles.
