5G Tech and A.I., etc.

https://www.ericsson.com/en/networks/offerings/network-services/ai-report
A future with A.I. & robots almost everywhere, interconnected with quantum digital consciousness.
https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-power-of-combining-5g-and-ai-11573234753

Of course the Internet_of_Things is also a big part of this global tech plan.
https://www.networkworld.com/article/3535337/how-ai-will-be-used-to-manage-5g-networks.html

Some people always want to have the latest & greatest tech, but sometimes it just might be an obsession.
https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_note20_ultra_5g-10261.php

With a diagonal screen that's just under 7 inches, is pretty darn good for a pocket tablet phone.

https://www.samsung.com/us/smartphones/galaxy-note20-5g

Of course there is still the big price to go with a big phone.

https://www.engadget.com/samsung-galaxy-note-20-ultra-review-snapdragon-865-plus-5g-s-pen-price-140017843.html So EG gives it a rating of 86%.

https://www.cnet.com/news/samsung-galaxy-note-20-ultra-review-amazing-features-but-is-anyone-a-power-user-anymore/
So the roll out of all the new 5G phones is well underway.

https://www.techradar.com/reviews/samsung-galaxy-note-20-ultra-review

Its really about the constant repackaging & marketing of the same old stuff.
https://www.digitaltrends.com/cell-phone-reviews/samsung-galaxy-note-20-ultra-review

Both have the same size screen.

https://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/samsung-galaxy-note-20-ultra-vs-galaxy-s20-ultra

Of course smartphones are a great convenience and have become essential for so many now. People still have the option to keep such telemetry devices outside of their skin. How many people today would really want to have an A.I. Telemetry Unit (AITU) placed under their skin?

Eventually the human herd might not have that much of a choice in being tracked like cattle and other livestock.

Black_Mirror is one of several productions of_interest that have provided a fascinating and disturbing glimpse of a future that's just around the corner or even above & below you.

AI can be a great thing for humanity but if people totally allow AI to control them, the results will be inhuman world.

Boise could be the next hot spot in the Bay Area tech exodus. But resentment is growing.

 https://www.sfgate.com/places/article/Boise-next-hotspot-Bay-Area-tech-exodus-Idaho-16241920.php

It used to be that almost any city liked the idea of people and business moving into their city. As long as Boise,_Idaho can properly plan for growth, it can have the best of both worlds.

"The metro area is currently the third largest in the US section of the Pacific Northwest after Seattle and Portland..." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boise_metropolitan_area

Depending upon how popular Boise becomes, it might eventually rival, Salt_Lake_City. Perhaps some day even getting as big as, Denver, but it would have to rival Calgary and SLC first.

Some people might live in the same city or town all their life, while others try a few different places to live. For some it's because of employment or wanting a change of scenery.

Of course there are always people that don't like other people to have the freedom to move around. Then when the COVID-19_pandemic started up, some people saw it as the perfect opportunity to try to track and_control almost everyone on the planet.

https://www.hrw.org/news/2020/05/13/mobile-location-data-and-covid-19-qa

But does the so called, HUMAN HERD really want to be tracked like cattle, or livestock in general?

https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2020/03/cellphone-tracking-could-help-stem-spread-coronavirus-privacy-price

Of course during a global emergency such as, the COVID-19_pandemic , travel_restrictions would make sense.

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-020-18190-5

The problem is that now whenever there are other world scale emergencies, tracking and travel restrictions return.

https://ssd.eff.org/en/playlist/privacy-breakdown-mobile-phones

Or, are the controls ever fully removed? Whenever the Internet_of_things becomes fully implemented, the world will be quite a different place.

https://www.businessinsider.com/countries-tracking-citizens-phones-coronavirus-2020-3

The human world has already undergone a tremendous series of lifestyle_changes_during_the_pandemic. Some can say that its become a very good test to better prepare the human herd for whenever something even worse occurs.

https://www.aclu.org/issues/privacy-technology/location-tracking/cell-phone-privacy

Its no big deal for livestock and pets to be tracked, but this human herd approach could potentially lead to human rights violations.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2020/08/17/covid-tracking-apps-cellphones

So eventually, what if an A.I. controlled mobile-phone, tablet or PC, decides where you can go for the day? That's what eventually might happen in the realm of, The+Smart+City.

Amazon to cut as many as 30,000 corporate jobs

Well, people back in the summer should have been fully informed to expect major job losses. So they might as well load up on beer, burgers and barbeques and collect FAT!

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2025-07-03/next-round-ai-induced-layoffs-here

Then, by the winter, they can live off some of their fat with much less income, or no income at all. Perhaps that beard they were growing during the summer can really help them with their impending homeless look in the winter.

Unfortunately, AI will be used as an excuse to reduce even more human jobs over the years. Well, it's a good thing that AI can't be programmed to eventually eliminate most of humanity. Not!

https://www.theguardian.com/film/2025/aug/07/james-cameron-terminator-style-apocalypse-ai-weapons-hiroshima

Of course once AI is used to kill some people, what is in place to eventually prevent it to want to kill everyone?

Militarization of AI Has Severe Implications for Global Security and Warfare

https://blog.peigenesis.com/the-pros-and-cons-of-using-ai-in-the-military Sending robots into various hostile or dangerous areas would have its advantages. However, that could eventually mean less human accountability whenever things have gone wrong.

The messy morality of letting AI make life and-death decisions

 https://www.technologyreview.com/2022/10/13/1060945/artificial-intelligence-life-death-decisions-hard-choices

Maker of suicide pod plans to launch in Switzerland https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-59577162

https://upload.wikimedia.org/Sarco-device

https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/sarco-suicide-capsule--passes-legal-review--in-switzerland/46966510

The Sarco suicide pod aims to take assisted dying out of doctors' hands with A.I... https://www.euronews.com/next/2021/12/08/the-sarco-suicide-pod-aims-to-take-assisted-dying-out-of-doctors-hands

So a person can go into a Sarco_pod or be placed into one in order to put them out of their misery.  Perhaps a series of disintegration chambers can eventually be developed as well. Just like something out of a Star Trek episode. https://thoughtsfromthemountaintop.com/2021/02/05/star-trek-a-taste-of-armageddon-kill-the-people-not-the-places

Indeed, what if AI determines that too many people have used up too many of their arbitrary carbon credits? Thus, a selected amount of people occasionally have a certain amount of time to enter a disintegration chamber, or be hunted down by drones and robotic exterminators.

There certainly is a compelling argument for people that want to have the right to die in order to end their suffering. However, if humanity should ever totally allow AI to occasionally cull the herd, the most inhuman consequences will likely become the result.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philip_Nitschke#Euthanasia_techniques

https://www.independent.co.uk/tech/suicide-machine-sarco-euthenasia-assisted-dying-b1970685.html

https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/A_Taste_of_Armageddon_(episode)

This is such a symbolically powerful episode. Just change the story to be about the war on overpopulation which needs to be run by an AI planetary management system. If any control system, becomes too obsessed with reducing carbon, eventually the reduction of human carbon units might become its ultimate objective.

"The Enterprise encounters a planet that has been waging war with a neighboring planet for 500 years. To prevent damage to infrastructure, they've been "attacking" and calculating "casualties" via computer. Everyone on the planet has a fanatical devotion to the plan, to the point that "casualties" willingly commit suicide to uphold it." https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Recap/StarTrekS1E23ATasteOfArmageddon

Artificial Intelligence in Cars...

 https://builtin.com/artificial-intelligence/artificial-intelligence-automotive-industry

The dream of having Self-driving vehicles has been around for decades.

https://www.techtarget.com/searchenterpriseai/definition/driverless-car

The ever advancing tech has made this dream become a reality, sort of.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/forbesbusinesscouncil/2022/04/19/three-ways-ai-is-impacting-the-automobile-industry/?sh=2eb9297d4a73

How AI is driving the autonomous vehicle revolution https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkAh2QiBn_w , https://www.youtube.com/c/IBMTechnology/videos

https://medium.datadriveninvestor.com/artificial-intelligence-and-autonomous-vehicles-ae877feb6cd2

Then eventually if AI has determined that you have used up too many carbon credits for the week, you might have to stay home for the next few days.

https://greenerideal.com/news/environment/track-your-carbon-footprint-pros-and-cons Several people already like the idea of being constantly tracked and monitored. They seem to want a world where one has to constantly get permission to almost do anything.

If people aren't careful, they could just become like mice in a laboratory maze where you might even have to seek permission just to spin on the hamster wheel.

AI and environmental management for the human herd should never be allowed to take over the world. That is unless most people want to have a BORG like planet.
